What we collect
In your browser
The converter calculates results entirely in your browser. The inch values, pixel values, units, and DPI or PPI values you type are not uploaded, logged, or stored by us.
Server logs
Our hosting provider automatically records standard request metadata for security, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring. Typical fields include IP address, browser user agent, timestamp, URL path, and referrer.
Contact messages
If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your message, name if provided, and email address. We use this information only to respond and improve the Site.
What we do not collect
- Account information, because there are no user accounts.
- Payment information, because the Site is free.
- Precise location data.
- Calculator input history.
- Third-party advertising cookies.
Cookies and local storage
The Site may use a small amount of local storage to remember simple preferences, such as a last-used DPI value. These preferences stay on your device and are not tracking cookies.
Third-party services
We rely on service providers for hosting, DNS, and email delivery. Each provider handles only what is necessary for that function. We do not pass calculator input data to advertisers, data brokers, or social networks.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request, correct, or delete personal data. Since we collect very little linked to identity, many requests will confirm that we have no personal data to share or correct.
Children
The Site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
